Step one - our garden
Before crossing the thresholds of the Poznan office, it's worth at least for a moment deviating from the beaten path and heading to the garden. This is one of our favorite places in the company - what do we appreciate it for?
- Grilling together - time spent among quality people, and meat or vegetarian specialties straight from the grill is the perfect plan for a spring (and beyond) afternoon after work.
- Fresh fruits and vegetables - we have our own herb garden, where you can find raspberries straight from the bush, red cherry tomatoes and even aromatic mint. Will you treat yourself?
- A place to work - there's nothing like a moment of relief in the shade of trees on a hot day, so at such times you'll often find us working outdoors.
Next direction - chill room
After getting some fresh air, it's time to head inside! Straight from the garden, we move to our chill room - a place for meetings, celebrations and great triumphs. This is where you can re-energize during a break from work - how? The list of ideas is really long! You will take advantage of both the foosball table (we are in the process of holding a company-wide tournament in this area. I can reveal that the HR department is leading in the competition!), as well as the ping pong table. And since we're talking about healthy competition - it's impossible not to mention the prizes - see how the last table tennis championship ended!
What else does the chill room hide? You'll also play retro consoles here, and if you want to step into more modern times, there's a PS5 waiting for you. What in case you prefer a traditional form of relaxation? No worries, you can chill on a hammock or poufs while drinking coffee straight from the coffee machine. On each floor of the office you will find sweet snacks and fruits, which will perfectly complement your moment of leisure.
How do we spend time outside the office? Trips and integrations
Throughout the year there is no shortage of opportunities for integration aimed for all Advox employees. A good example is this year's barbecue or September's Family Picnic. We are dedicated to make sure our team feels comfortable around each other. For this reason, every month all teams can use their dedicated budgets and spend time according to their own ideas. Recently, the Niesporczaks team went on a canoe trip - no wonder they work well together on a daily basis.
Is this the end of opportunities to spend time together? Not really! We also have a fun time during regularly organized meetings that bring together enthusiasts of various fields. An evening with board games, a volleyball section or soccer matches - there is certainly something for everyone.
There was "something" for the body, so it's high time for "something" for the mind - the company's library is in front of you! You can use our collection at any time, whether you want to expand your specialized knowledge or make your leisure time more pleasant with a novel. Certainly by the end of the week you will hear the word "massage" more than once in our office. - why? We have a physiotherapist visiting us every Friday to help recover after hours spent behind the desk. If, on the other hand, you need an extra moment of relaxation on other days you will find a space massage chair on the second floor.
We make sure our time at work provides as much positive excitement as possible. In order to avoid routine, small surprises often await for our employees - riddles on Riddle Day, gifts for Programmer's Day (in our case: All Advox Employees Day) or the opportunity to participate in charity events.
