For some time now, it has been said in the industry that consumers - not only in Poland, but also in other countries around the world - are more and more willing to take advantage of various types of marketplaces. Internet shopping platforms are a great alternative for those who find it difficult to browse and compare offers of online stores, causing frustration and other negative feelings. For this reason, they have become a great solution for businesses operating in various industries - this time, a step in this direction was taken by Hebe drugstore (part of Jeronimo Martins capital group).
Hebe Partner is a place where external suppliers can advertise their products. Selected products available on the platform will have the Hebe Partner badge (patent pending), and their shipment will be handled by external entities recognized as reliable partners. Such action within the eCommerce development will allow extending the offer of the drugstore chain but requires several changes. Suffice it to mention that in the regulations of the e-store there will be a clause that the customer has access to information on whether the product comes from the seller (Hebe has both its products and exclusive rights to distribute cosmetics and accessories of some brands), or from a partner.
Do you own a cosmetics company and would you like to be present on the marketplace of the network of almost 300 drugstores in Poland? Wait for information about the launch of the Hebe Partner platform!
You don't want to wait for the courier who will come with the delivery when you are not at home or pay for the delivery to a parcel machine? For customers like you, more and more brands offer the possibility of ordering products via an online store with a pick-up at a stationary location. One example of such companies is Empik, which is currently focusing on eco-delivery - it is allowing customers to collect ordered items without packaging (and its fillers) on a large scale. At the moment 75% of the products from Empik's offer are delivered from warehouses to stationary stores in this form, using only suitably stiffened boxes that ensure safety during transport. It is estimated that such action will reduce the use of cardboard by half each year, saving about 40 000 trees a year.
Will other companies follow Empik's example and increase their efforts in green logistics? Maybe such a solution will work for your online store?
The dynamic growth of eCommerce in the B2C sector (caused mainly by the Covid-19 pandemic) has also made companies operating in the B2B model interested in online activities - as indicated by the recently published report "B2B e-commerce now" prepared for Izba Gospodarki Elektronicznej. This situation on the business-to-business market is confirmed by the survey data:

Why do B2B companies rely on eCommerce? Among the most common motives for making such a decision are the opportunity to: reach a larger customer base, strengthen sales and optimize sales costs. However, starting a business in digital is a very big challenge - it requires a good analysis of the business and the market to be sure that the change will be accepted not only by the company but also by customers.
From our perspective, the most interesting thing is that the most frequently mentioned barriers to enter the eCommerce sector in the case of B2B were problems associated with IT, lack of access to specialists, or high costs of implementation. It's a fact, you can't do without an adequate IT background - that's why it's worth using the offer of our software house. We have extensive experience in implementing platforms and B2B modules for customers operating in various industries.
Thanks to e-Izba survey, you already know why you should do that - so it's time to take the next step!
